Hello, I'm Eidelyn (a.k.a. Bardot).
This little blog started in 2003 as a compendium to my old radio show, "Proper Social Etiquette" on KSCU 103.3 fm. Before it's long drawn out demise, it became an outlet for my photography, provided insight to my favorite songs and always-changing musical tastes, and became a journal for my not-very-frequent adventures. The internet has changed since then, with social media evolving with technology and the advent "personal branding". I don't have a perfectly curated and sponsored life, and I'm perfectly fine with that. That being said, my blog isn't very technologically advanced, but, one day, I'll bring it to the modern age.

Other things about me:
- I like black cats. so expect lots of cats.
- Sewing and crafting are cool.
- I *kinda* own a lot of clothes, shoes, and purses.
- My style and inspiration ranges, from pinup to mod to Lolita to goth to whatever fits well. I wear a lot of black.
- My goal is to NOT buy any new clothes, shoes, or bags. I have accumulated so much that I can wear different outfits everyday for a year (give or take). In addition to selling my things, I'm trying to be creative with the items I have.
- I have an affinity for mid-century modern and Polynesian tiki kitsch. Also, I collect lounge and exotica records.
- I'm on a plant-based diet, and I'm trying to be more conscious about the products I use. That being said, I still wear non-vegan clothing and use non-cruelty free makeup (bad, I know) from before the lifestyle change. I'm slowly transitioning the clothes and makeup, however! It takes time.
- I read lots of comic books. I recently added superhero titles to my list, but I totally support creator-owned projects.
- I'm a sub-par writer and horrible critical thinker. Please forgive me if there are more short blurbs and pictures.
